	Alkitab
	Alkitab Bible Study uses the JSword project engine to read a huge range of Bibles, Commentaries, Dictionaries, Daily Devotionals, Single/Parallel view, commentaries, lexicons, glossaries, and powerful search features. Not only free and Open-Source software, it has been released into the public domain. Alkitab is an alternative is front end for Bible Desktop (below) and runs on Linux/Unix, MacOSX, and Windows operating systems.
	BibleDesktop
	Bible Desktop is a Bible Study tool that also uses the JSword project to read a huge range of Bibles, Commentaries, Dictionaries, Daily Devotionals and more. BibleDesktop has some amazing (and amazingly fast) search features. No connection to the Internet required after download. Bible Desktop is free and Open-Source software that runs on BSD, Linux (needs a special Java version), Mac OS X , Windows 95 up through Windows Vista, and Unix.
	BibleExplorer
	Although not open-source software, BibleExplorer is completely free. It uses the CROSS Format to access over 200 free translations and commentaries (3000 volumes total) and compares multiple translations at the same time. Incl. cross referencing of any verse or passage, attachment of notes to any verse or book, and creation and sharing of books. Runs on Windows 98 through Windows 7. The Mac version runs on Mac OS 10.5 (Intel-only) or higher.
	BiblePro
	BiblePro for Windows comes with 43 Bibles, 250,000 commentaries and 1,750,000 references. Absolutely free and available as a download, a CD download, or a free CD (pay a nominal shipping fee). It's mainly for Windows, but anybody with a computer, browser and Internet connection can use the web version with ASV, Darby, KJV and more online.
	Bible Reader Free
	Bible Reader Free for Mac OS X accesses translations fast and can display multiple passages at the same time. Search across the Bible, or select parts. Swaps is a user-definable list of words or phrases that will replace matched words in the text ("You" for "Thou", etc.). Notes you can keep or share. Passages are pasted into a word processor with one keystroke.
	BibleTime
	BibleTime uses the SWORD programming library to work with over 200 Bible texts, commentaries, dictionaries and books provided by the CrossWire Bible Society. A Bible study application built with Qt4, BibleTime provides easy handling of digitized texts (Bibles, commentaries and lexicons) and powerful features like searching in texts, writing your own notes, saving, printing, etc.
	Church Info
	ChurchInfo is a free church Database that runs on any server supporting PHP and MySQL. Track members, families, groups, teachers, students, class lists, attendance, volunteers, guests, pledges, payments, donations, and more. An unlimited number of people (with the proper permissions) can access and update the database at the same time!
	Christian Widget
	The Free Christian News Widget is a Mac OS X Dashboard Widget that streams Born-Again-Christian.Info's daily XML / RSS news feed. Click the headline you're interested in to go to directly to the article in your web browser. The feed is for any computer with the Internet, a browser and/or a news reader, but the Christian News Widget is just for Mac. As with this whole list, it's completely free.
	e-Sword
	Create your own study Bible with up to four translations viewable simultaneously. Add comments or study notes, and use e-Sword's built-in Spell Check and Thesaurus. e-Sword includes powerful and flexible search and print capabilities as well. Strong's definitions, references in the commentary, dictionary views are ToolTips! Only for Windows; but Linux, Mac, etc. users can access e-Sword LIVE online.
	FireBible
	FireBible is a free web-browser interface (any platform with Firefox and Java) supporting general books, commentaries, dictionaries, glossaries, daily devotionals, maps and images. FireBible supports multiple tabs and multiple windows. Bookmark and tag chapters, verses and search results. Internet connection only required to download new material. As with all software on this list, it's free.
	Ichthux
	Ichthux is a free Christian operating system enhancement based on Kubuntu (must be downloaded with kubuntu). Ichthux includes BibleTime, kio-sword (for Konqueror), several Bibles, verse, bible-kjv, Christian emoticons theme by default in Kopete, Kdict with Easton and Hitchcock Bible dictionaries, and Culmus Hebrew fonts. It is free, Open-Source and awesome.
	MacSword
	MacSword is based on the Sword Project, with over 200 different free bibles, commentaries, lexicons, and dictionaries in over 50 languages. MacSword supports advanced read, search and browsing capabilities and is lightning fast. MacSword also links to built-in Services for Mac OS X so that you can access the Bible from almost any application!
	OpenLP
	Presentation software, show images and videos, slide themes, gradients, image and color backgrounds, font effects and more. Features include CCLI/SongSelect integration, themes, saving and opening of Orders of Service, announcement pop-ups, the ability to import Bibles from CSV files (comes with KJV and ASV). 	OpenSong
	OpenSong is free, open-source software for overhead and computer projection, lead sheet creation, lyrics, chords, etc. Automatically transposes chords to any key. Present any slide, in any order, as well as sets and timed loops. Keep track of a song’s title, author, copyright, ccli #, tempo, time signature, theme, focus, capo position, user defined fields, etc. Change font styles and sizes - change backgrounds too.
	ProspectKeeper
	ProspectKeeper is a stand-alone database (using the FileMaker Pro runtime environment) to keep track prospective Church members with follow up strategies. Track, search, import, export, e-mail and print mailing labels. Select and track singles, couples, families, address, phone number, email, visits, publicity, initial contact(s), notes, baptism requests, etc. Keep track of current members too!
	ReadtheBible
	Read the Bible: Bible study software. Quick search for words and phrases. Display in separate windows separate or synchronized parts from different translations of the Bible. Show every translation of the Bible as close to the original as possible - with all specific elements for each translation: titles of the books, the same chapter and verse numeration, all available footnotes, etc. Redirect to other software that the user can also use.

	Xiphos is a free Bible study application for GNOME based on The SWORD Project. Xiphos features extremely fast indexed searches, tabbed display, a module manager, support for 11 languages (read right and left), simultaneous multi-book searches. resizable map and image support, etc. Prayer lists, journals, and commentaries can be saved as modules and shared!
